It was so far out in left field with no backing whatsoever. Smear McLaren, certainly not. McLaren may be under the microscope and attempting to look squeaky clean, but on the other hand they will be protected against these sort of attempts. Any attempt to blame them for anything will be looked at harshly when no proof is given. Novak's withdrawal of his statement not only helps McLaren, but adds another nail to the coffin of Mosely. He already has so many nails in that I don't know how he's even able to continue fighting. Novak’s original statement really backfired on him and Mosely.
